Review: Ruthless Vows

Ruthless Vows by Rebecca Ross My rating: 4 of 5 stars Ruthless Vows, the last book of duology. The writing is exceptional and the plot is well thought of. The beginning was a bit slow in my opinion but other than that it was a page turner! Though I was expecting more it was a good book for a duology. “Write me a story where there is no ending, Kitt. Write to me and fill my empty spaces.” View all my reviews

Review: The Wishing Game

The Wishing Game by Meg Shaffer My rating: 4 of 5 stars Wow! It's a good book for a debut. This was such an interesting and unique book. It's beautiful, magical, and heart wrenching. Despite of her childhood experiences, she still thrive to be the best that she can be and willing to care for others. I loved Hugo, Jack, and Lucy! I really loved all the riddles in it too. Review: Ready or Not

Ready or Not by Cara Bastone My rating: 4 of 5 stars Ready or Not is a realistic and relatable book. I remember my pregnancy and all those unexplained emotion build up due to hormones. This one sounded like it could be promising. Eve shockingly learns she’s pregnant at the very beginning of the book and we get to go on her journey with her as she prepares herself for a life as a single mother. Eve's inward monologue and her conversations with Nurse Louise at her OB/GYN appointments had me smiling. I also love the cover of this book! View all my reviews

Review: The Chalice of the Gods

The Chalice of the Gods by Rick Riordan My rating: 4 of 5 stars Percy Jackson will always have a place in my heart. This series started my reading era. And it is still fun reading even with an 18 years old Percy with the OG trio, Annabeth and Grover. This makes me wanna read all the books all over again. View all my reviews

Review: Payback's a Witch

Payback's a Witch by Lana Harper My rating: 3 of 5 stars An mc witch who hates to be a witch because of what happens in the past. Is going back to her hometown will be the start of a changed of heart or will she find a new love that will make her stay? I loved the idea of family of witches competing with each other in a well organized games/challenges. I loved how supportive her best friend is despite of everything. The plot is kinda similar with "The Ex Hex" book but a little different. I enjoyed reading this one. Give me the next book! View all my reviews

Review: Love & Gelato

Love & Gelato by Jenna Evans Welch My rating: 3 of 5 stars I loved the plot of this one. Grieving the death of a loved one is different when surrounded by people that loved that person so much. Now I want to go to Italy and find my half-italian guy and eat some Stracciatella Gelato! View all my reviews

Review: The Legacies

The Legacies by Jessica Goodman My rating: 4 of 5 stars The Legacies is a mysterious thriller teen drama. A dual timeline and a multiple povs. It follows a high society club that is full of secrets and mystery with a glimpse of pretty little liar and gossip girl. The book focuses on the nomination of students to the said club, and how it affects their future careers. It also involves relationships that were tear apart by secrets. That all lead to a mysterious death. I liked how diverse the characters are, and even though they are not main they are still essential to the story. The plot is great but I wish the future timeline was a bit more detailed not to the point where there are no excitement but glimpses of their interviews like that. But it was a great and fun read overall. This is my first book from the author and definitely not the last. I love how she describes each scenes and its just amazing how she keeps the fun and mysterious blend togeth...
