Review: The Housekeepers

The Housekeepers The Housekeepers by Alex Hay
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

The Housekeepers is a historical fiction which bring us back to the 20th century. It has good storyline but I'm afraid it didn't quite work out well though it has potential. The Housekeepers follows the story of Mrs King, a housekeeper as she planned a heists in Park Lane. On the night when everyone was busy with the party throwed by the mistress the housekeepers was also busy looting the house dry.

It was a good to be true heists but it lacks something. And the turns of event didn't surprise me at all. The author has potential maybe on his next book. It was also written well maybe just not my cup of tea. 3.5/5

Review: Leave No Trace

Leave No Trace by A.J. Landau My rating: 4 of 5 stars Leave No Trace by A.J. Landau is packed with action, some thrilling moments and a big mystery for these agents to solve. I didn't know an investigator for the Natl Parks Service was a thing but now I do, and we have one as the main character here. Michael and Gina who works hand in hand to solve these mystery. I loved the representation of the Statue of Liberty mentioned at the end of the book. Also I loved how they put glimpse of historical background before the chapters. I unexpectedly enjoyed this fast paced thrilling novel. Will totally recommend it to my action thriller book lover friends! View all my reviews
