Review: The Haunting of Hill House

The Haunting of Hill House The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Haunting of Hill House is a one masterpiece, truly Shirley Jackson was one of the best in writing horror novels. A haunted house with its own story, owned by a family who faced great peril in the early years of 1950s. A well written book that will get your attention and focus more on her words. The atmosphere and mood were perfect for a spooky book. And the four characters came to life even though it was a short book. The ending was explosive. I didn't see that coming. Loved it. 4/5

Review: Ruthless Vows

Ruthless Vows by Rebecca Ross My rating: 4 of 5 stars Ruthless Vows, the last book of duology. The writing is exceptional and the plot is well thought of. The beginning was a bit slow in my opinion but other than that it was a page turner! Though I was expecting more it was a good book for a duology. “Write me a story where there is no ending, Kitt. Write to me and fill my empty spaces.” View all my reviews
