Book Synopsis:

A life-affirming anthem to kindness and self-sacrifice, The Travelling Cat Chronicles shows how the smallest things can provide the greatest joy.

We take journeys to explore exotic new places and to return to the comforts of home, to visit old acquaintances and to make new friends. But the most important journey is the one that shows us how to follow our hearts . . .

An instant international bestseller, The Travelling Cat Chronicles has charmed readers around the world. With simple yet descriptive prose, this novel gives voice to Nana the cat and his owner, Satoru, as they take to the road on a journey with no other purpose than to visit three of Satoru's longtime friends. Or so Nana is led to believe . . .

With his crooked tail--a sign of good fortune--and adventurous spirit, Nana is the perfect companion for the man who took him in as a stray. And as they travel in a silver van across Japan, with its ever-changing scenery and seasons, they will learn the true meaning of courage and gratitude, of loyalty and love.

Book Review:

The Travelling Cat Chronicles is a bittersweet and poignant novel. I never thought I'd love reading from a cat's perspective so much. I love this book! Too much emotion in just 288 pages! I'm not a cat lover myself but Nana's attitude and perspective is so funny and on point! Also the backstory of the characters are realistic and their friendship with Saturo is definitely a goal even though they don't see each other much but when it is in time of needs they always got each other's back! I'll rate this book a 5/5!

"As we count up the memories from one journey, we head off on another. remembering those who went ahead. remembering those who will follow after. and someday, we will meet all those people again, out beyond the horizon"

Review: Ruthless Vows

Ruthless Vows by Rebecca Ross My rating: 4 of 5 stars Ruthless Vows, the last book of duology. The writing is exceptional and the plot is well thought of. The beginning was a bit slow in my opinion but other than that it was a page turner! Though I was expecting more it was a good book for a duology. “Write me a story where there is no ending, Kitt. Write to me and fill my empty spaces.” View all my reviews
