Book Synopsis:

Bound by blood.
Tempted by desire.
Unleashed by destiny.

Bryce Quinlan had the perfect life—working hard all day and partying all night—until a demon murdered her closest friends, leaving her bereft, wounded, and alone. When the accused is behind bars but the crimes start up again, Bryce finds herself at the heart of the investigation. She’ll do whatever it takes to avenge their deaths.

Hunt Athalar is a notorious Fallen angel, now enslaved to the Archangels he once attempted to overthrow. His brutal skills and incredible strength have been set to one purpose—to assassinate his boss’s enemies, no questions asked. But with a demon wreaking havoc in the city, he’s offered an irresistible deal: help Bryce find the murderer, and his freedom will be within reach.

As Bryce and Hunt dig deep into Crescent City’s underbelly, they discover a dark power that threatens everything and everyone they hold dear, and they find, in each other, a blazing passion—one that could set them both free, if they’d only let it.

With unforgettable characters, sizzling romance, and page-turning suspense, this richly inventive new fantasy series by #1 New York Times bestselling author Sarah J. Maas delves into the heartache of loss, the price of freedom—and the power of love.

Book Review:

 Light it up, bitch!

One of my TBR book! Finally got the time to read this one. Honestly, through the first few chapter, i was having a hard time sinking in all the informations. The Crescent City map was a big help! As you through the chapters, you'll appreciate it more! This book was great in so many different ways that I’m having a really tough time to sort my thoughts and feelings. It's not just the typical fantasy story about action and adventure of fae and angels but i loved that it also talked about mystery, grief of a friend, drugs and war. The friendship between Bryce and Danika, the badass romance between Bryce and Hunt, the story of their origins and the journey of Bryce as a Chosen One its definitely a good read! Worth the 803 pages!

Through love, all is possible!

Highly Recommended! Can't wait to read book 2!

Review: Ruthless Vows

Ruthless Vows by Rebecca Ross My rating: 4 of 5 stars Ruthless Vows, the last book of duology. The writing is exceptional and the plot is well thought of. The beginning was a bit slow in my opinion but other than that it was a page turner! Though I was expecting more it was a good book for a duology. “Write me a story where there is no ending, Kitt. Write to me and fill my empty spaces.” View all my reviews
