Book Synopsis:

It’s not the first time Edith’s husband, Joe, has lied to her.
But it will be the last.

When she finds photos of a mysterious woman on her husband’s phone, the heartbreaking implications are all too familiar, and Edith sets out to discover her identity. What starts as a desperate search for answers quickly becomes a terrifying spiral of obsession and subterfuge.

With each new secret uncovered about her life, her marriage, and the man she loves, Edith is left with even more questions.

What exactly is Joe hiding?
Who is the woman in his photos?

Refusing to accept Joe's lies any longer, Edith soon finds herself living a double life, telling lies and keeping secrets of her own. When she uncovers a final piece of the puzzle, something darker and more gut-wrenching than even she could’ve anticipated, Edith is forced to make a choice about the future of her marriage.

The truth always comes at a price.
Sometimes, that price is your life.

Book Review:

This was such a quick read! One of my fav author is Kiersten Modglin in psychological thriller, exceptional in writing books with twisty, unpredictable, suspense and engaging stories. However, the scenes in this book is not that heavy compare to her other books, they were quite realistic and probably be happening in real life. (Not sure with the killing part though) I do like the characters in this book, the gaslighting and cheater "Joe",  "Edith" a strong character that survived the cheating husband and gets her befitting revenge, and the best side character, the supportive and always on the go "Dan".

But, overall this is a 4/5 for me.

If you're into psychological thriller type of reader, you should add this to your TBR!

Review: Leave No Trace

Leave No Trace by A.J. Landau My rating: 4 of 5 stars Leave No Trace by A.J. Landau is packed with action, some thrilling moments and a big mystery for these agents to solve. I didn't know an investigator for the Natl Parks Service was a thing but now I do, and we have one as the main character here. Michael and Gina who works hand in hand to solve these mystery. I loved the representation of the Statue of Liberty mentioned at the end of the book. Also I loved how they put glimpse of historical background before the chapters. I unexpectedly enjoyed this fast paced thrilling novel. Will totally recommend it to my action thriller book lover friends! View all my reviews
