Book Synopsis:

Phillip leads a quiet, mundane life in a small New England seaside town. When he discovers the body of a woman floating near his boat, his simple world is thrown into chaos. But as he adapts to the strange discovery, he finds that underneath his hardened exterior is a passion and thrill for love he didn’t know existed. Like the tides, a relationship is a neverending circle.

"A meek, passionless man is transformed by an astonishing encounter" -- Kirkus Reviews

Book Review:

I find this book interesting. It's a bit funny actually (The hangover and the pooping scene) and it has a compelling aura that will keep you reading chapter by chapter. The storyline is predictable but if you're into chill and quick read, and magical realism then you should read this book. But overall, it's a 3.5/5 for me.

Some of my fave lines on the book

- "Yes, I am sad. So what? People don’t always get what they want."

- "I come back because this is the best you. I like you much this way. Other times you are different. Not so nice. This you is the best you.”

- "Many strange things in life cannot be explained. It is that way now, and it has always been that way."

Review: Ruthless Vows

Ruthless Vows by Rebecca Ross My rating: 4 of 5 stars Ruthless Vows, the last book of duology. The writing is exceptional and the plot is well thought of. The beginning was a bit slow in my opinion but other than that it was a page turner! Though I was expecting more it was a good book for a duology. “Write me a story where there is no ending, Kitt. Write to me and fill my empty spaces.” View all my reviews
